Thanks all for your birthday messages! We made it to Barcelona in the end, despite French strikes. Shattered now, but I think that is more due to the 5am start than being 30!
So we are off to Barcelona… or we would be if the French weren’t on strike. Apparently we have to wait for one of the limited slots so we can fly over France…

Made of actual mental… in and interview the other day they were pointing out there’s no way to force an academy to create places if they are needed. I know… why don’t we build a super academy for each county with control over this and then that in turn could be controlled by the board who sets it’s rules. The members on that board could be voted in during some kind of elections? It would be more funny if it wasn’t all part of some grand plan to turn us into a corporate dictatorship.
